Homecoming 2023

Come celebrate 90 years of the Band of the Hour and the 40th anniversary of the first national championship!

You must be a member of the Band of the Hour Association to sit and march with the band at Homecoming. We will be wearing the green golf shirts which will be available for $25 purchase at a later time.

Thursday

Meet & Greet  6-8pm  (Mayfair Hotel Rooftop, Sipsip Calypso Rum Bar)

Friday

  • Luncheon  12-2pm (Knight Center for Music Innovation)
  • Registration and Instrument Pickup  2:30-3:45pm
  • Band Practice  4:00pm
  • Hall of Fame Ceremony  5:00pm
  • Boat Burning & Fireworks  8:30pm

Saturday

UM vs. Virginia  time TBD

Pre-game tailgate pep band. Sit and march with the band at the game.

Transportation to the game on the band buses will be available. Register early to secure a spot.

The Band of the Hour Association is an affiliate group of the University of Miami Alumni Association.  It is a separate entity from the University of Miami and is comprised of volunteers who give their time and effort to fundraise and support the University of Miami and the Band of the Hour in collaboration with the University, the UMAA, and its respective policies.
